ABOUT THE JOB
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for backend applications and databases.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources.
- Perform database testing using SQL to verify business logic, data transformations, and stored procedures.
- Test ETL/data migration processes and ensure data integrity before and after deployment.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare test reports and provide clear documentation of testing results.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and product quality.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Manual QA or Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL for database validation and data verification.
- Experience testing relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Familiarity with API testing using tools such as Postman is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
