ABOUT THE JOB
- Support the timely delivery and implementation of strategic initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) enhancements as requested by the business
- Engage in discussions with the development, business, and testing teams to understand requirements and enhancements to be delivered
- Bridge the gap between business requirements and user acceptance tests.
- Track outstanding defects and collaborate with the Scrum team to resolve issues promptly within the agreed timeline.
- Proactively seek continuous improvement in test coverage and execution.
- Actively participate in scrum activities and meeting discussions, including sprint planning, daily stand-up, and retrospective
- Prepare testing status reports and closely collaborate with business users.
- Provide overall department support for governance and communication.
- Monitoring performance, KPI management and support quality reviews.
- Support improvement initiatives to continuously improve capabilities, productivity, and efficiency of the Quality Engineering function.
- Support of knowledge management to facilitate sharing knowledge.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
- From 4 years in manual testing of software applications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Strong understanding of various testing techiques such as functional testing,data testing, API Testing, etc.
- Ability to interact with databases such as SQL, MongoBD, etc.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Working experience preferably in the insurance or financial industry.
- Experience with automation tests is a plus.
- Good command of English to collaborate with team and stakeholder.
