Key Responsibilities

We are seeking highly-motivated Software QA Engineer with strong experience Banking or Financial Services/Blockchain Industry. You will be part of Upskills ODC which hosts our development team in Vietnam. The successful candidate will integrate as a fast growing team and get direct exposure to the technical challenges of international finance institutions. You will take part of important software implementation and be responsible for, and not limited to:

• Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents.
• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Working with multiple teams in order to develop a core foundation for automation tools.
• Designing, developing and executing automation and manual scripts.
• Designing, developing and executing performance tests.
• Identifying, tracking and resolving bugs.
• Improving quality assurance metrics.
• Collaborating with the project Stream Leaders, Members, Solution Architect, Project Manager through defined roles and responsibilities for all test activities.

Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline.
• At least 3 year of experience as QA/QC Engineer in Manual Software Testing.
• Familiar with Java (basic), SQL, HTML, XML, etc...
• Experience in writing test cases in a programming language such as Java, Groovy and JavaScript.
• Proven experience in testing standards, tools, processes & methodologies, frameworks, and various delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall, DevOps.
• Experience in developing concise and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Experience in API Testing with tools like Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc...
• Experience in full-stack end to end testing (Web UI, Rest API, Database). Performance testing is a plus.
• Expert with Jira or similar bug tracking tool.
• Experience in automation test is a big plus.
• ISTQB certificate is a plus.
• Motivation to work in the financial software/ investment banking industry.
• Able to self-management.
• Good at English communication.
