On December 19, 2023, Nam Long Property Management and Development One Member Limited Company changed its name Nam Long Commercial Property Company Limited with the orientation of being a management company for commercial assets of Nam Long Group.
Position: Managing Director, Nam Long Commercial Property
Report to: Group Chief Executive Officer, this position builds an overall direction and strategic development plan for Nam Long Commercial Property and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of commercial real estate development. Responsible for successful launch of new commercial and ventures projects.
Main Responsibility:
Set overall strategic direction for Nam Long Commercial Property
- Develop and orient long-term overall strategies and portfolio development for Nam Long Commercial Property.
- Establish annual financial and operational objectives for each leader/manager of the division of Nam Long Commercial Property in line with the overall strategy of the whole group.
- Fulfill Nam Long Commercial Property's annual financial and business objectives.
- Assume the role of a strategic transformation leader and guide Nam Long Commercial Property towards achieving its strategic transformation objectives, in accordance with NLG's 10-year strategic plan.
- Cooperate and support Nam Long Land to enhance joint venture/ecosystem cooperation opportunities for both domestic and international markets related to the development of commercial real estate in the township and other areas.
- Work closely with other business and functional units to identify opportunities and support strategic initiatives across the group level
Managing Operations to ensure the successful execution of NLCP's Business Plan
- Responsible for end-to-end accountability of all performance within the Commercial company and related subsidiaries.
- Create a business plan that generates long-term values.
- Oversee M&A activities of commercial projects and overall management of asset portfolios.
- Ensure smooth operations of each project from design, planning, legal, construction, project development, etc. to property management.
- Assess and monitor the performance of each project/portfolio within the Commercial Property company.
- Evaluate whether the Commercial Property company is on-track to deliver short- and long-term objectives.
- Grow relationship with players in Commercial Property development supply chain to develop commercial & ventures capabilities.
- Represent the company in the interaction with large customers, government entities, financial communities, and the public.
Build a high-performing organization, and the associated new enablers for growth
- Instill the culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Promote functional excellence by ensuring adoption of best-in-class tools, methodologies, and practice, through close collaboration with NL Group.
- Define talent strategy and capabilities for NLCP.
- Collaborate with Group in driving hiring process for directory levels in NLCP & its subsidiaries.
- Coach, develop, motivate, and provide growth opportunities for middle management and high-potential young employees.
Promote a healthy organization environment

Job requirements:
Background / Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Construction, and/or Engineering. Master's degree in business-related fields is preferred
- At least 10 years in real estate development and management in general management roles. Tenure with top-tier developers in Southeast Asia is a plus
- At least 5 years in commercial property management. Experience in investment or fund management is a plus
- Knowledgeable in real estate industry, property development with a focus on finance & investment, R&D, business development, project development, project management, asset management, and/or property operation management
- Proficiency in English
