POSITION: Manager Projects (Civil, MEP & Utilities)

OVERVIEW:
Our client is a leading multinational apparel manufacturer seeking for a Manager Projects (Civil, MEP & Utilities) who will be responsible for overseeing and managing factory-related construction projects, ensuring smooth execution of MEP & HVAC systems, and working with utility infrastructure, including boilers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Civil Construction & Infrastructure Development
- Oversee and manage factory construction projects, ensuring adherence to design, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors for the planning and execution of civil works.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve construction-related issues promptly.
2. MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) & HVAC Systems
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of MEP and HVAC systems for manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure optimal performance of air conditioning, ventilation, and electrical distribution systems.
- Work closely with utility service providers, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
- Implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs.
3. Boiler & Utility Management
- Supervise the operation and maintenance of boilers, steam distribution, and other utilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to boiler operations.
- Optimize fuel and energy consumption to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Troubleshoot and rectify utility-related technical issues affecting production.
4. Project Planning & Budget Management
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines for new construction and renovation projects.
- Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment at optimal costs.
5. Compliance & Safety Standards
- Ensure all construction and utility projects comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Implement risk assessment measures and enforce best practices in safety.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities for necessary permits and regulatory approvals.
6. Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting
- Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, contractors, and external agencies.
- Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Manage and resolve conflicts that arise during project execution.
PRE - REQUISITES:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 10 years of experience in construction project management, MEP, HVAC, and boiler/utility management within the apparel or any manufacturing industry.
