As a Manager of Assembly Equipment Engineering, you will lead the activities of cell Assembly equipment maintenance, production ramp-up, continuous optimization and upgrading of existing line, EE improvement, solve on-site equipment defects, prepare related documentation, coach team members. Also get involved in new line design, layout planning, capacity balancing, FAT, SAT.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will have opportunities to access to latest cell Assembly manufacturing technologies around the world and shape the innovative cell solutions for meeting TTI's power output and energy storage requirements for a variety of products.
- Keep daily monitoring machine status, make sure smooth and stable production.
- Do pre-maintenance to reduce machine break down, train with external vendors and collaborators to develop and qualify the cell equipment design and advanced process technologies.
- Develop the technology evaluation plan, identify the required resources, set up timelines, prioritize tasks, troubleshoot problems, and assess technical feasibility and commercial viability.
- Effectively communicate the ideas and results both internally and externally.
- Monitor projects status, provide updates, deliver reports/presentations regarding the current and future development activities, and make recommendations.
- Identify the patentable inventions and generate IPs.
- Build, grow, and mentor the whole team to the next level of excellence.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in science or engineering (Machinery, Automation are preferred).
- 10+ year experience with equipment/process development, maintenance, production.
- Knowledge of emerging cell manufacturing process/equipment technologies is preferred.
- Deep-in knowledge of cell equipment design, modification and continuous optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills driven by curiosity and attention to details.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Chinese is preferred.
