Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the leadership and direction of Datacom NPI technical issue-solving along New Product Introduction period. Supervise yield improvement, HPU reduction, scrap control to maintain profitable product cost roadmap. Coach and guide leaders and engineers for team growth both in technical wise and organization strength.
  • Project technical leader for new product transfer from design to mass production, to ensure that all new products meet specified requirements, the budget cost and the transfer timeline. He/she will be accountable for product validation, failure analysis, test debug, yield improvement, HPU/scrap reduction, cost down activities, coordination and trouble shooting.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in in Physics, Optical Communications, Material Engineering, Mechanical, Materials or equivalent.
  • 8 + years of related experience in optical module or semiconductor in a high tech manufacturing company with 3 years of managerial/leadership experience in the field.
  • Wide experiences for critical FA cases for key projects in past
  • Ability to recommend and implement improvements
  • Good communication skills in both English.
  • Good team player with hard working attitude.
  • Must be self-motivated with capability working under pressure .

  • Rich NPI experience and Ideas to drive Product Cost down
  • Handle special assignments promptly and professionally
