Overall accountability for the management of the fixed income portfolios with the aim of consistently outperforming the benchmark and provide quality analysis and inputs as part of the investment process

JOB SUMMARY This role assists Head of Fixed Income in completion of (i) macroeconomics and fixed income research and analysis (ii) fixed income and bond market research and analysis (iii) sector/industry research and analysis, (iv) company research and analysis, (v) Fixed Income/Bond and related investment activities, including other Fixed income activities related tasks, and (vi) other investment related tasks to be assigned by Head of Fixed Income. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -Research and analysis/assessment +Perform regular and ad-hoc research for market and macro-economics for fixed income investment activities for other requirements from the company, clients, etc. +Perform bond market research and analysis where required or relevant. +Conduct regular and ad-hoc research for companies, and necessary industries, sectors for fixed income investment related activities and for other requirements from the company, clients, etc. +Perform regular and ad-hoc other research such as ESG for fixed income investment activities for other requirements from the company, clients, etc. +On a regular basis or ad-hoc requirement, ensure high quality research is performed and produced with the required timeframe. +Research/analysis/recommendations should be produced and/or present on regular basis or when necessary to stakeholders, including CIO, Head of Fixed Income/PM, Investment Committee, Fixed Income team members, etc. +Ensure that research output is good and added value to fixed income investment activities, investment performance and for other requirements from the company, clients, etc. +Prepare necessary research related materials or slides for CIO, Head of Fixed Income, Investment committee, and other stakeholders. -Related research, analysis/assessment and FI work +Ensure research, related work, and relevant reports/data are performed, filed and stored in compliance with processes, policies. +Ensure required research reports and FI trade are captured in Aladdin. +Set-up necessary process for research, analysis of company, sector, macro, markets. +Ensure necessary databases and tools for performing research are prepared and maintained. -Other assigned tasks to meet FI KPI/requirements +Complete other assigned tasks by Head of Fixed Income/CIO/Company to meet FI KPI/requirements. +Other duties assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS -Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; advanced degree preferred. Additionally relevant degrees or certificates such as CFA designation are preferred. SSC license is required. -Minimum of 5- 7 years of financial industry or fixed income related experience. Position requires fundamental research and sound understanding of macro, industry, fixed income markets, etc. -Capability to continuously enhance and deliver high quality research outcomes -Ensuring research performing and outcome adhere to ethical standards. Align with the client, company, team objectives, and interest. -Ensuring other related FI work are performed and maintained properly -Advanced working tools for doing research. -Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to complete issues and produce good outcome within certain timeframe. A high level of professionalism is mandatory. -Strong team player that is flexible, adaptable and hardworking who believes in an integrated team driven investment process. -Diligently working and responsibly working.
