Atheneum is looking for a Manager, Client Services to lead our Life Sciences vertical in APAC, based in Ho Chi Minh City. This is a critical leadership role with high visibility, significant ownership, and the mandate to both protect a strong existing business and drive a breakthrough in market share.

Your Mission:

Client & Project Leadership:

  • Own and lead highimpact projects across APAC, in close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders, with full accountability for delivery quality and commercial outcomes.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for key Life Sciences clients in APAC, engaging professionally and confidently with key users and stakeholders.
  • Proactively scope projects, assess priorities, and advise clients on optimal execution approaches in time‑sensitive environments.
  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion, maintaining strong performance while unlocking new opportunities.

Team Management & Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing client services team located in HCMC, Shanghai and Lahore, establishing clear standards, processes, and accountability.
  • Coach and develop talent, accelerating both performance and professional growth.
  • Take full ownership of people management, including hiring, performance management, and addressing underperformance when necessary.
  • Allocate resources effectively to balance speed, quality, and team sustainability.
  • Guide and motivate team members toward shared goals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Business Ownership & Continuous Improvement:

  • Take ownership of a well-developed Life Sciences business with strong client demand and significant growth potential.
  • Partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to strengthen Atheneum's position as a leading Life Sciences expert network in APAC.
  • Leverage data, client feedback, and team insights to continuously improve execution and commercial performance.
  • Maintain a strong on‑site leadership presence in the HCMC office, reinforcing expected standards, behaviors, and performance culture.

What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)

  • Consistent revenue growth and a healthy pipeline within the APAC Life Sciences portfolio.
  • High client satisfaction and repeat engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • A more structured, stable, and highperforming team, with clear standards and development paths.
  • Visible leadership impact in strengthening the HCMC office foundation.

Success will be assessed through a combination of commercial outcomes, delivery quality, and people leadership impact.

Profiles We Are Seeking:

Atheneum strongly believes in the power of diversity. We are seeking target-driven team players with excellent emotional intelligence, problem-solving and time management skills.

  • Experience in Expert Network services is highly preferred; exceptional candidates from adjacent fields (consulting operations, research services, etc.) may be considered.
  • Strong client and project management track record, ideally within Life Sciences.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and accountability.
  • Ability to operate comfortably in a highpressure, targetdriven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. Another APAC language is preferred.
