About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveManagement Accountantto join our finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, financial control, and accurate reporting across our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor departmental spending and ensure compliance with budget controls.
- Oversee production procedures and implement control gates to ensure efficiency and cost control.
- Manage and monitor the inventory system, performing regular physical-to-system reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain relevant financial and operational reports to support management decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to enhance factory processes and drive operational improvements.
- Support annual budget preparation and periodic forecast updates.
- Conduct variance analysis on actual vs. budget spending and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, corporate policies, and relevant regulations.
- Assist in implementing system improvements and automation for reporting and data accuracy.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making for production, supply chain activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ability to use advanced formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Query, Power BI, and Macros (advantageous).
- Background in manufacturing finance or operational accounting preferred.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
