Job Description

OVERVIEW OF POSITION

The Maintenance & Facility Manager oversees all maintenance, facility operations for all clubs. This comprehensive role ensures that the clubs physical infrastructure, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal are maintained to the highest standards. The position requires strong leadership, operational management skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the Maintenance & Facility teams to ensure the clubs is maintained, clean, and safe for all guests and staff.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and facility management strategies, including preventative maintenance schedules for all casino systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Manage budgets for maintenance, facilities, and environmental services, including procurement of materials and contracting of services.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the Maintenance & Facility departments.
  • Coordinate with contractors and third-party service providers, overseeing all facility-related projects to ensure they meet quality standards and timelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facilities and environmental services to identify areas in need of improvement.
  • Implement and maintain emergency procedures for facility management, including quick responses to maintenance and cleanliness issues.
  • Train and develop the Maintenance & Facility teams, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Report regularly to senior management on the status of facility operations and propose improvements or changes as needed.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as required by direct managers.

KEY FUNCTIONS

Facility Operations Management:

  • Lead and Coordinate Daily Operations: Oversee the maintenance and facilities team to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and enforce strategies for maintenance and facility management.

Budget and Compliance Management:

  • Manage Budgets: Oversee financial aspects, including budgets for maintenance and environmental services.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with Contractors: Manage relationships with third-party service providers.

Inspection and Emergency Management:

  • Conduct Inspections: Regularly audit facilities and services for improvements.
  • Implement Emergency Procedures: Develop and maintain emergency response protocols.
  • Train and Develop Teams: Enhance the skills of maintenance and facilities team.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years-experience in facility management, with extensive knowledge in maintenance operations and environmental services.
  • Experience in Air-condition - MEP - Building Maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing large teams across different operational areas.
  • Proficiency in facility management software, budget management, and project management tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook): Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office applications for various tasks, including creating reports, managing schedules, and analyzing data.
  • Experience with Facility Management Software: Familiarity with software tools specifically designed for facility management, such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management).
  • Basic Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS): Understanding of BAS to monitor and control building systems.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Tools: Ability to use project management software to track and manage facility-related projects effectively.
