Position Summary
We are seeking talented Magento Back-End Developers (Junior / Senior / Leader levels) to join our growing team. You will participate in global e-commerce development projects for clients in the US, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate has strong PHP experience, solid knowledge of Magento architecture, and the ability to deliver high-quality code under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Participate in software, e-commerce, and web development projects across multiple international markets (US, Japan, Korea, SEA).
- Design and develop Magento features, APIs, and custom modules based on customer requirements.
- Implement integrations with third‑party systems such as payment gateways, ERP, PIM, CRM, marketing platforms, etc.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security following Magento best practices.
- Analyze requirements, provide technical solutions, and estimate development efforts.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects with clear root cause analysis, impact assessment, and solution proposals.
- Ensure coding quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
- Write and maintain technical documentation (API documentation, technical design, deployment notes).
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA, PM, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance across development, staging, and production environments.
Requirements
Experience
- Junior: Minimum 2 years of experience in PHP development.
- Senior: Minimum 5 years of PHP development with strong Magento experience.
- Leader: 8+ years of experience, capable of leading technical design, reviews, and mentoring developers.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with PHP 7/8 and modern OOP practices.
- Solid knowledge of Magento 2 architecture, including module development, plugins, observers, dependency injection, and GraphQL/REST APIs.
- Familiarity with e-commerce concepts, SEO fundamentals, and web standards.
- Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery (for backend‑related integration tasks).
- Experience with at least one PHP framework (Symfony, Laravel, Zend, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience working with RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.
- Understanding of Design Patterns, clean code principles, and SOLID.
- Proficient in source control tools such as Git or SVN.
- Experience with Composer, PSR standards, caching (Redis, Varnish), and queue systems (RabbitMQ) is an advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
