Your Job
The primary purpose of the Logistics Supervisor role is to oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including import/export and trade & customs activities, while ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and local regulations.
Our Team
This role is part of the logistics department at Molex Vietnam Hanoi, reporting to the Logistics Manager. You will collaborate with officers, internal sections, forwarders, customers, Molex entities, and local authorities to ensure smooth logistics operations and achieve departmental goals.
What You Will Do
- Supervise daily logistics operations to ensure efficient warehouse management, inventory control, and delivery performance.
- Coordinate import/export activities and customs clearance processes while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Work closely with forwarders to assess, select, and manage their performance for optimized logistics.
- Monitor and manage Molex inventory, including properties in suppliers, vendors, and customer sites.
- Support the implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and instructions to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards, including 7S, KAIZEN, and RBA requirements.
- Provide guidance, training, and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Contribute to quality and delivery goals by supporting continuous improvement initiatives such as ISO, Six Sigma, and environmental health and safety systems.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of import/export processes and local/international logistics regulations.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in supervising teams and driving operational improvements.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Familiarity with ERP or SAP systems for inventory and logistics management.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen or Six Sigma.
- Previous experience working with ISO standards and compliance initiatives.
- Leadership training or certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
