SENLA is a logistics technology startup solving Vietnam's biggest domestic trucking inefficiency: most trucks return empty on their way back. We are building a freight-matching platform to reduce empty miles, increase utilization, and help carriers grow profitably. SENLA is backed by Antler, a global early-stage VC.

About the Position

Location: Ho Chi Minh

Reporting to: Founder / CEO

The Sales Manager is in charge of getting senders and logistics companies to use SENLA's platform. This means bringing logistics companies (carriers) and senders (shippers) onto the platform, ensuring they use the product for their shipping needs. Early on, you will sell by yourself. Over time, you will build and lead a sales team.

We are looking for a strong Sales Manager with proven sales experience in domestic trucking who can both acquire customers directly and build & lead a sales team.

Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition

  • Hunt and acquire shippers (senders) and carriers (trucking companies).
  • Lead customer meetings, understand shipment needs, and negotiate pricing.
  • Close deals and drive recurring shipment volume through the platform.

Account Management

  • Onboard new customers and guide them through first shipments.
  • Maintain relationships and expand accounts.
  • Monitor usage and ensure smooth shipment execution with operations.

Sales Process Building

  • Build sales scripts, customer pitch materials, and pipeline tracking.
  • Develop channel & pricing strategy.
  • Work closely with founder & tech team to improve customer experience.

Scaling & Team

  • After demonstrating repeatable sales, hire and lead sales executives.
  • Train team members using sales processes and structured customer onboarding.
  • Set clear targets with monthly reviews.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Vietnamese, good working English.
  • 35+ years sales experience in domestic trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics services.
  • Proven track record of hitting (or exceeding) sales targets.
  • Strong network among shippers or trucking companies is a major advantage.
  • Comfortable with field sales, customer visits, and commercial negotiation.
  • Independent, persistent, and takes full responsibility for results.

Big Plus

  • Experience with freight-matching platforms, TMS, or logistics SaaS.
  • Experience selling into small and medium-sized companies in Vietnam.
