Logistics Operations Executive

The Operations Executive is an exciting role that comes with responsibilities in overseeing and optimizing freight-forwarding operations, from documentation and logistics to customer service and regulatory compliance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and optimizing operational efficiency to support the success of DP World's logistics business.

Key Accountabilities:

Customer Implementation

• Support implementation activities for new customers, including data collection, SOP preparation, and workflow alignment.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Set up customer profiles, routing instructions, and operational parameters in internal systems.
• Participate in customer kick-off and handover meetings.
• Monitor first shipments and ensure proper process adherence during ramp-up phase.

Shipment Data Entry / Documentation

• Accurately input shipment details into DPW system & 3rd platform by request from customers.
• Verify documentation accuracy and compliance with operational and customer requirements.
• Maintain timely and correct updates for milestones (pickup, departure, arrival, delivery).
• Support billing preparation or basic charge entry as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications with minimum 1 year experience in Logistics/Freight-forwarding operations. Open for Fresher.
• Excellent service mindset with ability to connect with customers and extend an extra mile in resolving their issues / concerns.
• Well versed with shipping processes and related services in international logistics business.
• Effective verbal and written communications in English and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and new set-up environment. Requires a combination of skills in adaptability, problem-solving, communications, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, be organized, methodical and deal well under pressure.
• Proficiency in using MS Office and IT applications.
• Knowledge of Cross Trade will be beneficial.
