JOB IN SUMMARY

We are looking for a Logistics Manager to lead our logistics operations with a strong focus on shipment planning and execution. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods across the supply chain, optimizing logistics performance, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Shipment Planning & Coordination

• Take full ownership of shipment planning to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to manage shipping schedules and resolve any transportation issues.

2.Logistics Strategy & Cost Management

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce transportation and warehousing costs.
• Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

3.Import/Export Operations & Compliance

• Oversee import and export procedures, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
• Maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities such as VCCI, Plant Protection Department, and Customs Departments in HCM and Dong Nai.

4.Vendor & Partner Management

• Negotiate and manage contracts with logistics service providers and transportation companies.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met.

5.Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with procurement, production, sales, and finance teams to align logistics operations with business needs.
• Support new projects and product launches with tailored logistics solutions.

6.Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, train, and develop the logistics team to meet performance goals and enhance operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and process improvement.

7.Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track and report key logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight cost, order accuracy, and inventory levels.
• Use data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

8.Other Duties: Perform other job-related assignments as required by management.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, import/export regulations, and transportation laws.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
