Logistics

  • JOB PURPOSE

This position is part of Logistics team who handles within Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore to manage general trade compliance mission in Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore site follow ADM standard and execute export and import operations activities.

  • DUTIES
  • Export:
  • Perform export hold release related activities.
  • Perform jurisdiction and classification determinations and update site classification matrices.
  • Manage the Vietnam related system for export holds.
  • Complete license/permit application development for Vietnam exports.
  • Run a regular export compliance training for Vietnam sales, service and other employees.
  • Execute local operations within framework of Global Trade Compliance goals and objectives
  • Coordinate with Global Trade Compliance on compliance with foreign export licenses
  • Import:
  • Strengthen import compliance program for Vietnam,Cambodia,Singapore facilities.
  • Determine proper valuation for goods imported into the Vietnam
  • Assure imports into Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore under free trade agreements/other duty reduction programs comply with local laws.
  • Demand planning:
  • Lead demand forecast meetings, verify historical data accuracy, actively challenge forecast assumptions and methodologies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the forecasting process
  • Own Demand Forecast Accuracy (DFA) performance, define root cause impacting forecast accuracy and propose initiatives for improvement
  • Build and maintain reports relating to demand planning scope
  • Manage database, documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to facilitate effective demand planning and communication.
  • Supply planning:
  • Lead supply strategy including supply network, product classification, MTS/MTO list, safety stock, order strategy
  • Provide supply visibility to stakeholders, it includes PO plan, shipment status, inventory status, production plan
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to solve supply issues/risks
  • Reconcile inventory accuracy between system and manual reports
  • Manage database, documentation and standard operating procedures for supply planning processes and systems.
  • Inventory management:
  • Highlight inventory risks to stakeholders including OOS risk, aging risk, near-expired stock risk, and follow up for actions
  • Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence to minimize write-offs (finished goods and raw materials)
  • Highlight to Logistics Team for peak seasons, stockpile
  • Others:
  • Manage performance of corporate customs brokers
  • Conduct internal audits of compliance processes and procedures and drive improvements
  • Conduct import brokerage other regulatory agencies reviews and compliance audits
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager.
  • Improvement Projects related to planning functions
  • Jobs assigned by direct manager
  • REQUIREMENT
  • Qualifications: University degree in a related field required.
  • Computing: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point), experience in ERP system.
  • Extensive knowledge of Vietnam import and export laws and regulations.
  • 5+ years working in an import/export environment , 2+ years working in team leader/supervisor position.
  • Fluent Vietnamese and English required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to actively listen.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
