Position: Logistics and Expediting Manager (strong Expedition experience required)
Working Place: District 9, HCM
Working Time: Mon-Fri (8 AM 7 PM including 1.4 hr lunch break)

Our Client, a European player in the energy transition with the strength of a diversified and combinable range of solutions, is looking for a Logistics and Expediting Manager for their business in Vietnam.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics and Expediting Manager responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring on-time delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation in compliance with Vietnamese and international regulations. The role focuses on schedule control, international transportation coordination, customs compliance, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Management
Plan, coordinate, and manage domestic and international transportation activities.
Select and supervise freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers.
Optimize transportation routes and costs while maintaining service quality.
Monitor shipment progress to ensure timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
2. Expediting & Schedule Follow-up
Track procurement schedules and ensure vendors meet committed delivery dates.
Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering, and project teams to prevent delays.
Proactively identify schedule risks and implement corrective actions.
Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
3. Customs & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese customs regulations and international trade laws.
Manage import/export documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance of goods.
Maintain updated knowledge of taxes, duties, and customs requirements in Vietnam and other relevant jurisdictions.
4. International Transportation Expertise
Oversee air, sea, and land freight operations.
Ensure compliance with international shipping standards and Incoterms.
Manage relationships with global logistics partners.
Handle cross-border shipments and resolve transportation issues efficiently.
5. Cost & Risk Control
Monitor logistics budgets and control transportation costs.
Negotiate freight rates and service contracts.
Identify and mitigate risks related to delays, penalties, or regulatory non-compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in logistics and expediting roles
Strong knowledge of international transportation regulations and customs procedures.
Solid understanding of taxes, duties, and import/export compliance.
Proven ability to manage schedules and coordinate with multiple stakeholders (must have experience)
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English
