We are looking for a Liability Product Specialist/ Supervisor to develop and manage non-lending financial products for both individual and business customers at Cake Digital Bank. This role focuses on designing innovative liability products such as digital savings, payment accounts, merchant settlement solutions, and cash management services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in digital banking product development, with additional exposure to merchant acquiring, business customer solutions, and payment ecosystems. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Technology, Marketing, Operations, and Partnerships to deliver scalable and customer-centric financial products..
About the role:
- Develop and manage liability products including digital savings, current accounts, and other deposit products.
- Develop solutions for merchant partners and business customers, including settlement accounts, payment collection, and cash management services.
- Design products supporting merchant onboarding, settlement flows, and business account management
- Design innovative product features to enhance customer acquisition, engagement, and deposit growth.
- Define product roadmap and prioritize features based on business impact and customer insights.
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement product enhancements and digital features.
- Coordinate with risk, compliance, legal, and operations to ensure product compliance with banking regulations.
- Work with marketing and growth teams to launch product campaigns and promotions.
- Integrate AI and automation to power smarter engagement: chatbots, predictive journeys, personalized offers, and beyond.
- Act as the product owner define problems, validate ideas, ship features, and iterate quickly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, related field.
- 35+ years of experience in banking, fintech, or digital financial services.
- Experience in liability products such as savings, deposits, or payment accounts.
- Experience working with merchant solutions, acquiring, or business banking products is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in digital product management or product development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills you thrive in cross-functional teams.
- Comfort with rapid experimentation and ambiguity you learn fast and move fast
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple business lines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in digital banks, fintech companies, or payment service providers.
- Familiarity with merchant ecosystems (e-commerce platforms, POS systems, payment gateways).
- Experience launching new financial products from concept to market.
- Data analytics.
- Previous work in a digital bank, e-wallet, or high-growth tech company
