Our legal mission focuses on ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, proactively minimizing legal risks, and protecting the company's legitimate rights and interests. ROLE PURPOSE

The Legal Officer is responsible for supporting the legal team by processing legal inquiries and assisting in contract management. This role is crucial in helping Marou maintain compliance and protect its interests in all legal matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Contract Management

• Draft, review, and revise commercial contracts, including procurement, service, confidentiality, marketing, and other business agreements.
• Identify legal risks and provide practical recommendations to protect the Company's interests.
• Support contract execution and maintain an organized contract repository.

Legal Advisory

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal departments, including Sales, Procurement, Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
• Research and interpret applicable laws and regulations affecting the Company's business.
• Prepare legal opinions, legal memoranda, and internal guidance.

Corporate & Licensing

• Support corporate governance matters, including preparation of corporate documents and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate licensing applications, amendments, renewals, and other regulatory procedures.
• Liaise with government authorities where required.

Compliance

• Assist in developing and maintaining legal policies, SOPs, and compliance procedures.
• Participate in legal compliance audits and internal investigations when required.

Intellectual Property (IP)

• Support the registration, renewal, maintenance, and enforcement of the Company's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and domain names.
• Coordinate with external IP agents and government authorities on trademark filing, prosecution, renewal, opposition, and enforcement matters.
• Monitor the Company's IP portfolio and maintain accurate IP records and documentation.
• Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters and support IP-related disputes when required.

Personal Data Protection (PDP)

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Company's Personal Data Protection compliance program.

Other Responsibilities

• Support company projects from a legal perspective.
• Assist in implementing legal process improvements and digitalization initiatives.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Legal Supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a legal role.
• Familiarity with corporate law and compliance.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a team-oriented environment.

PREFERABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in the food and beverage sector.
• Background in contract law or negotiations.
• Certification in compliance or similar fields.

Working time: Monday - Friday

Working location: Green Building, 160 Street B2, An Loi Dong Ward, Thu Duc City, HCMC.
