Job Summary
Oversee and take professional responsibility for the legal team handling: Intellectual Property (IP), brand protection, product declaration/advertising, export legalities, and international trade compliance for MCH to protect company interests, foster a compliance culture, and support sustainable market expansion.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and monitor product declaration and advertising policies in Vietnam.
Strategize global protection, exploitation, and infringement handling for IP.
Control legal procedures for product listing and circulation in Vietnam.
Advise on export legalities (labeling, dossiers, advertising, distribution, registration, contracts, local laws).
Support International Business, R&D, QA, and Supply Chain in overseas expansion.
- Compliance & Legal Management
Supervise procedures for product circulation, advertising, IP, and exports.
Proactively detect domestic/foreign legal risks and propose protective solutions.
Coordinate with internal teams, competent authorities, and domestic/foreign lawyers and consultants.
Update legal changes affecting business, exports, and the supply chain.
Support handling inspections, audits, complaints, and disputes regarding products, ads, and exports.
- Policy Advocacy & Training
Analyze policy trends and draft legislation impacting the industry and exports.
Represent the Company to comment on draft laws and work with associations/authorities to protect business interests.
Propose advocacy strategies and recommend amendments to eliminate operational barriers.
Develop materials and conduct compliance training (declaration, ads, IP, exports, global trade) for staff.
Lead and implement legal digital transformation (process optimization, control automation, AI application, ERP, CMS, and workflow tools).
- Reporting & Team Management
Report compliance status and material risks to the Board of Management.
Manage, assign tasks, set KPIs, train, and develop the legal team (including the export legal team).
Handle other duties as assigned by authorized management.
Job Responsibilities - Continued
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Law. Preferred: Certificates/Degrees in MBA, Compliance, IP, or International Trade.
Experience: Minimum 7 years in corporate legal departments or law firms; FMCG, large corporations, or MNCs background preferred. Proven experience in IP, commercial law, product declaration, advertising, exports, and team leadership.
Language: Excellent English communication, legal drafting/reviewing, and presentation skills.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of corporate, commercial, advertising, IP, product quality/labeling, and export laws.
Skills: Leadership, strategic/systems thinking, negotiation, multi-tasking under high pressure, process improvement, and tech application.
