As the Legal Team Leader, you will be the backbone of our legal integrity, leading a team to manage commercial risks while empowering the business to grow. You will oversee contract lifecycles, provide strategic advice, and ensure that every step Sieu Viet Group takes is built on a solid legal foundation.
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Contract Management & Quality Assurance:
- Draft & Review: Oversee the drafting and meticulous review of all commercial contracts, service agreements, and NDAs to ensure maximum legal validity and protection.
- Standardization: Develop and maintain a library of standard contract templates to optimize the speed of business operations.
- Negotiation Support: Assist Sales and Operations in high-stakes contract negotiations with partners and vendors.
Strategic Legal Advisory:
- Business Partnering: Provide timely and specialized legal advice to the Leadership Team and various departments (HR, Finance, Product).
- Agile Solutions: Deliver legal opinions that balance Legal Risk with Business Objectives, fostering an environment where bold decisions are made safely.
Compliance & Internal Audit:
- System Integrity: Execute internal audit programs to ensure all departments adhere to established legal procedures.
- Compliance Screening: Periodically screen the company's document storage and operational workflows to ensure integrity and complete legal compliance.
Legal Representation & Research:
- Representative: Act as the company's legal representative in administrative or litigation proceedings when necessary.
- Legal Watch: Monitor changes in labor law, digital commerce, and data privacy to proactively update company policies.
Team Leadership & Operational Support:
- Team Development: Mentor and lead junior legal staff, ensuring high performance and continuous professional growth.
- Reporting: Draft comprehensive legal reports and administrative documents at the request of the Board of Management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Law (LL.B. or LL.M.). Lawyer practicing certificate is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Team Lead or supervisory role. OR 4–5 years of intensive experience in Corporate Legal, specifically in Tech/Service industries.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (Equivalent to IELTS 6.5+). Proficiency in legal translation and interpretation is essential for international documentation.

- Research: Proficient in in-depth legal research and delivering sharp, persuasive arguments.
