Advise on legal aspects of domestic and international manufacturing operations (in collaboration with local counsel where needed).
Review and negotiate contracts for machinery and equipment purchases, construction, and supply of goods and services.
Provide legal guidance on regulatory licenses, production conditions, and other operational compliance requirements.
Advise on product safety and liability issues, and support the business in managing product-related risks.
Advise on other issues related to manufacturing area.
Advise and manage claims/ disputes as assigned.
Stay informed on changes in relevant laws and proactively advise the business on potential legal developments.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience working as a lawyer at a reputable law firm or as an in-house legal counsel, preferably in the manufacturing, industrial, or automotive sectors.
Solid knowledge of commercial and contract law.
Experience working with cross-border legal matters and coordinating with external counsel in international jurisdictions.
Strong understanding of compliance issues related to production.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
