Your role will be instrumental in helping us achieve our vision by protecting our business interests and fostering trust within the industry

Position Overview

The Legal Counsel will oversee all legal-related work within iKame, with a focus on ensuring that our products and features comply with international regulations and platform policies. You will serve as a strategic partner to the BOD, providing legal support for daily operations and navigating the complexities of corporate governance for a 300+ employee organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive, solution-oriented legal expert with a deep understanding of the mobile game and app ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Operational Advisory (50%)
  • Advise on and execute legal strategies to ensure iKame's mobile games, apps, and new features comply with international laws (e.g., GDPR, COPPA), platform policies (Apple App Store & Google Play), and local regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead the protection of iKame's IP portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and handle IP infringement claims or platform disputes.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including inter-company (outsourcing) contracts, publishing agreements, partnership deals, and investment/M&A documents.
  • Proactively identify legal risks across departments and propose practical, business-aligned solutions to safeguard company operations.
  • Corporate Governance & Compliance Control (35%)
  • Oversee legal compliance for iKame Holdings and its subsidiaries, ensuring all corporate activities align with statutory requirements.
  • Apply legal regulations to build internal workflows and manage compliance within the company's daily operations.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of internal regulations and labor policies to ensure full legal adherence.
  • Legal Intelligence & Strategic Advisory (15%)
  • Monitor and analyze global legislative changes; perform impact assessments on iKame's business models to provide timely strategic advice to the BOD.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor of Laws or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of in-house experience, preferably in mobile game and app development.
  • Proven track record in managing legal compliance for enterprises with 300+ employees with deep understanding of Corporate Law, Investment Law, Labour Law.
  • Ability to conduct legal research and preliminary analysis of laws and regulations in different jurisdictions, experience with US and Singapore laws is a strong advantage.
  • You are adaptable, positive, possess a can-do spirit, quick action and ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Solution-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • You are fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex legal issues and advice in an easily digestible manner
