Position OverviewWe are seeking a Legal Counsel to strengthen our in-house legal function, with a primary focus on legal compliance, regulatory matters, and dispute handling. This role plays a key part in ensuring the company operates in full compliance with Vietnamese laws while proactively managing legal risks in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to audits or compliance frameworks (e.g., RBA) is considered a plus but not the main focus.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with applicable Vietnamese laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Provide legal advice on daily business operations, including labor, corporate, and commercial matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Identify legal risks and propose preventive and corrective actions
- Support handling disputes, claims, and other legal matters when required
- Work closely with internal departments (HR, Procurement, Operations, etc.) to ensure legal compliance across functions
- Develop, review, and update internal policies and procedures in line with legal requirements
- Provide legal guidance and training to internal stakeholders
- Support audit/compliance activities (e.g., RBA, ISO) when required
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's degree is an advantage)
- 3–5 years of experience in legal/compliance roles
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese laws (labor law, corporate law, civil procedures, etc.)
- Experience in dispute resolution or litigation is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in manufacturing or electronics companies is an advantage
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks or audit processes (e.g., RBA, ISO)
- Experience working in multinational environments
