We are now looking for talents to join us as: Legal & Compliance Executive

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

In-house Legal Advisory

  • Act as an in-house legal advisor to internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Procurement, HR, Finance, etc.).
  • Provide legal advice and assess legal risks in business, commercial, labor, and operational activities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate non-template contracts: commercial contracts, cooperation agreements, distribution agreements, service contracts, agency agreements, outsourcing contracts.

Contract & Legal Risk Management

  • Develop, improve, and standardize contract systems, legal clauses, and negotiation playbooks.
  • Control legal risks in high-value or sensitive transactions.
  • Monitor contract validity, obligations, and risks arising during contract performance.

Compliance & Ethics

  • Implement and monitor compliance with internal policies, group regulations, and Vietnamese laws.
  • Participate in building and updating compliance programs: Code of Conduct, Anti-bribery, Data Privacy, Pharma compliance (if applicable).
  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews, handle compliance issues, and propose corrective actions.

External Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the focal point for working with external lawyers, government authorities, and legal partners.
  • Coordinate the handling of disputes, complaints, inspections, or investigations (if any).
  • Prepare legal documents and materials for audit, inspection, or litigation.

Training & Compliance Awareness

  • Design and deliver legal and compliance training for employees.
  • Conduct internal communications on legal risks and new regulations.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior legal/compliance staff (if any).

REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • Possession of a Lawyer Practicing Certificate mandatory
  • Minimum 35 years of experience as an in-house legal professional or at a law firm (preferably in pharma, FMCG, or MNC environments)
  • Practical experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk advisory
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and labor laws; compliance experience is a strong advantage
  • Good English skills (reading, writing, advisory)
  • Independent mindset, proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and strong professional ethics
