Job Summary
The main duty is to assist and provide support on leasing management of Gamuda Land Shophouses at Celadon City, Eaton Park, Artisan Park, and other projects as appointed. Key roles include pioneering the leasing team, besides presenting and leasing properties to prospective lessees (or tenants). The goal is to scout for potential tenants, turn them into actual ones, and achieve high occupancy rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful leasing of retail, food and beverage outlets, offices, and all other leasable space, in line with the commercial terms set out in the leasing budget;
- Ensure that the leasing strategies and policies are strictly adhered to at all times;
- Perform and utilize market intelligence in order to gain information that would lead to maximizing the mix and quality of the tenant representation within the project;
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants in order to facilitate the addition of their concepts as part of the leasing strategy and to build and maintain relationships;
- Create tenant profiles and accurate databases for each tenant category so as to facilitate information retrieval and ensure a proper follow-up;
- Conduct presentations and site visits for prospective tenants in order to promote Cultural Village as a unique retail destination;
- Co-ordinate with other parties regarding changes in design and their implications on retail outlets;
- Work with the tenant coordination team in transitioning from executed contracts through to the handover of tenant spaces and commencement of fit-out, through to trading;
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company;
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing / Business Administration or Related Discipline
Competencies Required
Minimum 3 years experience with a Retail Leasing Team
Skills & Abilities
Understanding of merchandising, including mix, quality, and branding adjacency, layering and bundling
Commercial and negotiation skills and ability to understand contracts
