Job Responsibilities
As a Technical Account Manager, you will act as the technical owner and lead for one or multiple game projects. You will work closely with external partners (game studios, game developers) and internal cross-functional teams to deliver stable, scalable, and compliant technical solutions.
You will lead a small cross-functional team including Software Engineers, QC, DevOps, and Game System Engineers, and be responsible for the full delivery lifecyclefrom requirement collection to system deployment and post-launch support.
Responsibilities
- Partner communication & requirement gathering: act as the main technical contact point for external partners. Work with partners to collect, analyze, and clarify functional and technical requirements, and translate them into actionable technical plans.
- Cross-functional collaboration: collaborate closely with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, Data, and Operations to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Technical leadership: act as Technical Lead for a small cross-functional team including Software Engineers, QC, DevOps, and Game System Engineers. Coordinate tasks, resolve technical dependencies, and ensure delivery quality.
- Game & SDK integration: lead and oversee game integration with internal or third-party SDKs, including mobile SDK integration (iOS / Android). Support partners throughout integration, testing, and go-live phases.
- System development & deployment: coordinate the design, build, and deployment of game backend systems and services. Work with System Engineer to ensure proper CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure setup, and operational readiness
- Web & event platform integration: oversee the development and integration of game websites, event landing pages, and web applications that support in-game or marketing events.
- Data & ETL integration: coordinate the integration and transfer of game data into the Data Warehouse. Work with Data teams on event tracking, ETL pipelines, and data validation.
- Compliance & governance: ensure all implementations comply with internal SOPs, Risk Analysis processes, Technical Compliance, Security Compliance, and Data Governance standards.
- Reporting & delivery tracking: regularly report project status, risks, timelines, and delivery progress to management. Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
Pre-Requisites
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in the IT field, including over 3 years in a Technical Owner, Technical Lead, or Engineering Manager role
- Strong background in software development with hands-on technical understanding.
- Solid experience in business analysis and requirement management.
- Experience with SDK integration and mobile development (iOS / Android).
- Good understanding of system architecture and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Experience working with data systems, including event tracking, ETL pipelines, and data warehouses.
- Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading or coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Vietnamese citizen based in Ho Chi Minh city.
Plus
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native systems
- Working experience in the game publishing or game development industry.
- Familiarity with security best practices and large-scale system operations
