ABOUT THE JOB
Project description: You will be part of a squad in Governance Risk & Compliance team to enhance and build new interface for GRACE (Governance Risk and Compliance Engine) to support CPS230 program. (Australia Prudential Regulatory Authority – Operational Risk Management Standard). You will be working with GRC solution engineers on all aspects of agile delivery e.g. Requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, platform/Infrastructure including security and compliance, support and maintenance
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design, solutioning, and delivery of complex applications and platforms within the Risk Technology domain.
- Drive end-to-end technical ownership across application development, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and operational support to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Design and implement modern cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS and/or Azure, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and resilience standards.
- Continuously improve engineering practices, automation, operational processes, and service reliability through DevOps principles and platform optimization.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, risk and compliance teams to deliver technology solutions that support critical business and regulatory requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis, problem resolution, and proactive identification of opportunities to improve system performance, resilience, and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to fostering a high-performing engineering culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Provide technical leadership and thought partnership across the SDLC, including:
- Business and functional requirement analysis Solution architecture and platform design
- Cloud and infrastructure engineering
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Code quality and peer reviews
- Testing and quality engineering
- Production support, operational readiness, and continuous improvement
9. Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Solution Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications and platforms.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure, and modern software delivery practices.
- Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production environments, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical decisions, challenge the status quo, and deliver outcomes in complex enterprise environments.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Risk Technology, or highly regulated industries.
- Exposure to operational risk, compliance, controls, security, or audit-related technology environments.
