To support this growth, NCB is looking for experienced Vietnamese professionals to join the Card Product Team and help drive the next phase of innovation and portfolio expansion.
Role Description
NCB is hiring Lead / Senior Product Managers – Credit & Debit Cards to lead the end-to-end development, launch, and management of card products.
The role will be responsible for designing competitive card propositions, launching new products, and managing portfolio growth, while working closely with internal teams and international payment partners such as Visa and Mastercard.
This position will play a critical role in developing new credit card propositions for affluent and priority customer segments, enhancing the bank's Customer Value Proposition (CVP) and driving growth in card acquisition, spend, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
- Lead the end-to-end development and launch of credit and debit card products
- Design and implement customer value propositions (CVP) for different customer segments including affluent, priority, and mass segments
- Develop product pricing, benefits structure, loyalty programs, and partnership propositions
- Build and manage the product roadmap aligned with the bank's strategic priorities
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking across Vietnam's card market
- Identify opportunities to improve NCB's positioning in travel, lifestyle, and ecosystem-driven propositions
- Analyze customer behavior and spending patterns to enhance product features
Product Launch & Execution
- Work with Risk, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver successful product launches
- Coordinate with Visa, Mastercard, and ecosystem partners on product development initiatives
- Ensure readiness across systems, customer journey, and operational processes
Portfolio Management
- Monitor product performance including card acquisition, spend volume, activation, revolve rate, and profitability
- Identify opportunities to improve portfolio growth and customer engagement
- Develop initiatives to improve customer lifecycle management and product utilization
Customer Experience & Innovation
- Design digital-first customer journeys across card acquisition and servicing
- Drive innovation in card benefits, lifestyle partnerships, and loyalty programs
- Enhance overall customer experience and product differentiation
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Credit Card or Debit Card product management within banking or financial services
- Deep understanding of card business models, card operations, and payment ecosystems
- Proven experience in card product launches or portfolio management
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret customer data, product performance metrics, and market insights
- Experience working with Visa / Mastercard / payment networks is highly preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Candidate Requirements
- Vietnamese nationals or candidates with valid Vietnam work authorization
- Experience in Vietnam banking or payments market preferred
- Passion for building innovative financial products and improving customer experience
