Lead Risk Technology Architect Financial Crime & Agentic AI
Join a technology and product innovation hub working on building next-generation banking and financial crime prevention systems. The team develops a unified, high-performance platform that reduces fraud, money laundering, and non-financial risk through advanced data engineering, AI, and automation.
We are looking for a Lead Risk Technology Architect with strong experience in non-financial risk, financial crime, fraud detection, and modern data/AI architecture. This role designs the end-to-end architecture for real-time detection, profiling, and investigation across multiple markets.
What You'll Do
- Design and lead architecture for large-scale fraud, AML, and financial crime systems.
- Architect multi-modal data ingestion pipelines (batch, real-time streaming, event-based).
- Build out a localized LLM (SLM) strategy and develop a multi-agent AI architecture using knowledge graphs and unified ontologies.
- Design ODS logical data models, star/snowflake schemas, and scalable data foundations to support decisioning and knowledge capture.
- Apply entity resolution frameworks without unnecessary data movement (process-in-place).
- Promote Shift Left principlesdata quality, governance, and lineage built directly into the foundation.
- Architect real-time, near-real-time, and batch systems using Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, PySpark, Scala, Python, SQL, and GPU/compute-aware design.
- Set up and operationalize LLMOps, MLOps, and full lifecycle monitoring for AI/ML models.
- Build profiling layers for sub-millisecond fraud detection and deeper investigative analytics.
- Integrate with external systems such as sanctions, ID&V, biometric and authentication tools.
- Work cross-functionally with Data Science, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams.
What You Need
