Lab Technician (Toy/Footwear)

I. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC

We are open to candidates at different levels (Senior and Junior level); senior candidates will be considered for Senior Lab Technician positions

General Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee testing activities in accordance with testing orders, SOPs, clients instructions and company quality procedures

• Receive and review testing orders, SOPs and instructions before conducting testing

• Review and ensure accuracy of test results and reports before submission

• Monitor testing progress and proactively report any issues to Supervisor/Team Leader

• Maintain proper records of test data for traceability

• Ensure proper handling and storage of testing samples

• Maintain equipment, tools, chemicals and consumables in good condition

• Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures, safety regulations and internal guidelines

• Perform testing on Toys, Hardline or Footwear products depending on assignment

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Level

• Ensure test plans, specifications and test lists meet customer expectations and company regulations

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure smooth lab operations

• Maintain laboratory documents/records in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, SATRA and HSE policies

• Participate in developing and improving test methods

• Evaluate laboratory capability for new standards (equipment, personnel, methods)

• Update on new standards, testing methods and customer requirements

• Provide technical support and resolve technical issues

• Train and coach technicians; conduct training when procedures are updated

II. JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields (e.g. textiles, footwear, mechanical, physics or relevant technical majors)

• 1–5 years of experience in laboratory testing (Toys/Hardline/Footwear)

• Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Lab Technician roles

• Strong knowledge of testing standards and ISO/IEC 17025 is preferred

• Experience in developing test methods and training/coaching is a strong advantage (for senior level)

• Ability to work independently and provide technical support

• Good command of English (reading & writing)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn

III. WORKING TIME & JOB LOCATION

• Working time: Monday – Friday (8:30 – 17:30 or 9:00 – 18:00)

• Job location: Lot R3, Van Dat Building, CN8 Street, Tan Binh Industrial Park, Tay Thanh Ward, Tân Phú District, Ho Chi Minh City
