Rugby School Hanoi is part of the global Rugby School family, founded on the traditions and educational philosophy of Rugby School in the United Kingdom, with nearly 460 years of history. Guided by the ethos Whole Person, Whole Point, the school is committed to nurturing academic excellence, strong character, and the holistic development of every pupil.

The Pre-Prep School will open in September 2026, followed by the Prep and Senior School in September 2027, creating a continuous educational pathway from the early years through to graduation.

Role Description

The successful post holder will meet or exceed the school's student recruitment targets for Korean enrolment, provide excellent customer service to Korean parents and students, and strengthen relationships between the school, Korean universities, and Korean companies.

Responsibility:

•    Meet and exceed Korean student recruitment targets for both the school and the summer course, ensuring that Korean parents fully understand the school's USPs and strengths.

•    Welcome, advise, and conduct tours with prospective Korean parents, persuading them to join the school, and answering their enquiries timely and accurately; also supporting for English speaking cases if requested.

•    Schedule testing and interviews for Korean applicants, provide translation during interviews if required, and assist prospective parents with paperwork if they are not proficient in English.

•    Monitor perceptions and preferences of prospective and current Korean parents, identify any shifts in their views of the school and its competitors, and inform the Director of Marketing and Communications without delay.

•    Collaborate with the University Counsellor to support Korean university visits by liaising with leading Korean universities, building strong relationships, and arranging regular visits.

•    Recommend, contact, and visit HR or management personnel to explore opportunities for Korean and other international corporate partnerships or kindergarten referrals.

•    Provide interpretation for Korean parents who do not speak English during parent meetings, events, interviews, and other occasions requiring language support.

•    Translate letters, marketing materials, or other documents into Korean, upon request.

•    Provide simultaneous interpretation at large-scale events such as information sessions by the Head of School or their designate.

•    Identify schools Korean parents view as comparable to Rugby School Hanoi (e.g., competitor schools) and monitor their activities, informing the Director of Marketing and Communications of any updates in their offerings.

•    Follow all Admissions policies and procedures and process related paperwork as agreed with the Director of Marketing and Communications.

•    Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications or Head of School or their designate, after due consultation.

Requirements:

•    Bachelor's degree (Preferred majors: Management, Marketing, Customer Service or Hospitality)

•    Fluency in both English and Korean, written and spoken

•    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales role dealing with upper-class Korean clients, ideally in a large international company

•    Experience in English–Korean and Korean–English translation is preferred
