Role Description

1. Family Engagement & Community Building

  • Serve as a liaison between the school and families.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for prospective and newly enrolled families.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
  • Support the development of a strong parent community through events and initiatives.
  • Promote school values, culture, and mission in all interactions.

2. Academic Team Support

  • Assist the academic team with planning and implementing events, activities, and programs to meet the needs of the school community.
  • Provide personalized communication and follow-up with prospective families.
  • Share authentic insights about the school experience from a family perspective.
  • Support the academic success of the students through collaboration with leaders and staff.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and parent groups on engagement initiatives.

3. Korean University Counselor Support

  • Collaborate with the Dean of Students to guide Korean students and families through the university application process, including course planning, career exploration, and post-secondary pathways.
  • Collaborate with the Dean of Students to guide Korean students and families through the university application process, including course pl to organize and support parent workshops, university information sessions, college fairs, and career exploration events.
  • Collaborate with the Dean of Students to organize and support grade-level meetings and indicisula student meetings for students in Grades 9-12 regarding academic planning, extracurricular development, leadership development, and university admissions strategy.
  • Communicate regularly with Korean parents regarding student progress and university planning.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Korean university admissions requirements and trends.
  • Build relationships with Korean university representatives and admissions offices worldwide.

4. Admissions Support

  • Assist the admissions team with school tours, open houses, and information sessions.
  • Provide personalized communication and follow-up with prospective families.
  • Share authentic insights about the school experience from a family perspective.
  • Support enrollment and re-enrollment efforts.

5. Onboarding & Transition Support

  • Guide new families through the onboarding process.
  • Organize orientation sessions and welcome activities.
  • Help families transition smoothly into the school community.
  • Connect new families with existing parents, staff, and resources.

6. Communication & Outreach

  • Maintain regular, positive communication with families.
  • Support communication between families and school departments.
  • Assist in gathering feedback to improve the family experience.
  • Represent the school at community events and external engagements.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Korean and English
  • Proficiency in translation and cultural mediation
  • Event planning and coordination skills
  • Customer service experience and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and diverse environment
  • Knowledge of educational systems or international
