FOREIGN ENGLISH TEACHER (PRESCHOOL) – OFFLINE
Location: Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Employment Type: Part-time
Students: Preschool children (ages 3–6)
JOB PURPOSE
To deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons for preschool learners through play-based learning, songs, games, storytelling, and movement activities. The teacher will help develop students confidence, communication skills, and love of English in a positive and supportive environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teaching & Classroom Delivery
- Teach English to preschool students using songs, games, stories, TPR (Total Physical Response), and hands-on activities.
- Deliver lessons following the center's curriculum, lesson plans, and academic guidelines.
- Use English as the primary classroom language.
- Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment that encourages participation and language development.
- Prepare and organize teaching materials, flashcards, props, and classroom activities.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and age-appropriate techniques.
- Student Progress & Reporting
- Observe and assess students language development, participation, and classroom engagement.
- Provide feedback and complete simple student evaluations when required.
- Support the collection of photos and videos for academic records and parent communication.
- Collaboration & Professional Conduct
- Work closely with Vietnamese teachers, teaching assistants, and academic staff.
- Attend teacher training sessions, meetings, workshops, and school events when required.
- Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and professional standards at all times.
- Maintain punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude in the workplace.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred).
- TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Candidates with Early Childhood Education experience are strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Previous experience teaching young learners or preschool students is preferred.
- Clear and confident English communication skills.
- Energetic, patient, creative, and passionate about working with young children.
- Ability to sing songs, tell stories, lead games, and conduct movement-based activities.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow the center's teaching methodology.
