Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior/Senior Key Account Executive to drive sustainable business growth by developing strategic partnerships with Modern Trade customers. This role is responsible for customer business planning, account management, commercial negotiations, and execution excellence to achieve sales and profitability objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and strengthen long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Business Management

  • Develop and execute annual customer business plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Own sales targets, revenue growth, and key commercial KPIs for assigned accounts.
  • Identify business opportunities and drive initiatives to maximize category growth.

Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners.
  • Lead commercial negotiations on trading terms, promotions, assortment, and joint business plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Category, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure flawless execution.

Commercial Execution

  • Execute customer agreements and promotional activities to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and ROI, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure excellent in-store execution and compliance with agreed commercial plans.

Market & Business Analysis

  • Analyze sales performance, customer trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Translate business insights into actionable recommendations to drive growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews, and performance reports for internal stakeholders.

Requirements


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Experience


  • From 2–6 years of experience in Key Account Management, Modern Trade Sales, or Customer Development within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience managing national or regional Modern Trade accounts.
  • Strong track record of delivering sales growth and managing commercial negotiations.

Skills


  • Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
