Junior Frontend Developer

WALA-ICT is seeking a highly motivated Front-End Software Engineer with expertise in both ReactJS and React Native to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the user interfaces (UIs) and user experiences (UX) of our products, leveraging your proficiency in both web and mobile development technologies. You will collaborate closely with fellow engineers and designers to ensure the delivery of exceptional results across both platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications utilizing ReactJS and a comprehensive suite of modern web technologies.

- Develop and maintain native mobile applications using React Native, ensuring a seamless user experience across iOS and Android platforms.

- Compose clean, reusable, and maintainable code that adheres to established best practices and industry standards for both ReactJS and React Native development.

- Foster close collaboration with fellow engineers and designers to deliver exceptional user interfaces (UIs) and user experiences (UX) for both web and mobile applications.

- Bridge the gap between web and native development by effectively utilizing React Natives capabilities to create performant and feature-rich mobile applications.

- Integrate native functionalities specific to iOS and Android using platform-specific APIs while maintaining consistent codebases for both ReactJS and React Native.

- Optimize applications for performance considerations, including speed, scalability, and robust security measures, across both web and mobile platforms.

- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging procedures utilizing a variety of tools and frameworks specific to both ReactJS and React Native development.

- Actively participate in code review processes, code analysis initiatives, and code optimization efforts for both ReactJS and React Native codebases.

- Engage in ongoing research to stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends within the web and mobile development landscapes.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 year demonstrable experience in web development, leveraging ReactJS and complementary web technologies.

- A minimum of 1 year demonstrable experience in mobile development, preferably with React Native.

In-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the intricacies of both ReactJS and React Native.

- Practical experience integrating with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Redux, Webpack, and various other web development tools and frameworks for ReactJS development.

- Experience with mobile development tools and frameworks commonly used with React Native (if applicable).

- Proven ability to utilize testing and debugging tools specific to ReactJS (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, etc.) and React Native (Jest, Detox, etc.).

- Experience with Git or a comparable version control system.

- Solid foundation in web design principles, encompassing user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design concepts.
