Job Description
This position focuses on Outbound Execution. Key details include:
- Work with traders on position follow-up and any commercial issues with shippers / clients
- Issue logistics documents (invoices, release documents, cover letters...) related to assigned sales & instruct/ensure upload of related external documents where required
- Work closely with Sales & external partners to anticipate execution challenges and advise on potential solutions
- Send shipping instructions to shippers (clients) in due time
- Place booking with shipping lines where required & ensure internal database accuracy
- Follow-up on sample results where required and update internal database accordingly
- Process shipping documents (including upload onto system) and payment to shippers if required
- Liaise closely with shippers, shipping partners & end Clients where relevant to deliver the best services
- Check all assigned service invoices to approve the costs and prepare payment request
- Other tasks assigned by Team Leader
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of working experience (compulsory)
- University graduate (BA or equivalent), with focus/ major in Foreign Trade, Commodity Trading, or Logistics is a plus. Other certifications are a plus
- Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of any other language is a plus (Chinese / Korean / Thai)
- Experience in an international environment related to trade/ supply chain/ logistics / customer service
- Experience in coffee trade logistics is a plus
