Job Description

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Junior Channel Coordinator to support the planning, execution and performance management of product assortments, pricing and promotional activity for the Canadian market. Based in Vietnam, this role works closely with Canada-based Channel Managers and cross-functional partners to maintain accurate information, complete commercial analysis and keep channel initiatives moving forward. The position is designed to build channel management capability through hands-on coordination, analysis, documentation and project support under the guidance of the Channel Manager(s) and VP of Marketing & Sales.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Performance, Pricing & Margin Support (40%)

  • Analyze sales trends, cost structures, and promotional results to support pricing strategies and SKU assortment optimization.
  • Evaluate landed costs and margin data to proactively identify data gaps, pricing inconsistencies, and margin risks.
  • Maintain accurate product, pricing, and packaging information in alignment with channel requirements via cross-functional collaboration.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication (20%)

  • Coordinate go-to-market activities, product positioning, and promotions with Sales, Marketing, and Channel teams.
  • Maintain accurate channel records (e.g., pricing tiers, exclusives, promotional limits) and ensure smooth information flow between Canada and Vietnam teams through concise updates.

Market Insights, Analytics & Assortment Support (20%)

  • Monitor market trends, product perfomance, competitor pricing, and end-to-end product lifecycles (sourcing to compliance) using sales data, inventory trends and consumer feedback.
  • Manage existing assortments, including regular assortments reviews, product rationalization, and discontinuation planning.

Business Initiatives, Sales Support & Special Projects (20%)

  • Support key business initiatives such as line reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and assortment updates.
  • Prepare reports, analysis, and presentations to support business decisions.
  • Execute special projects based on business needs, including Factory Direct Sales (FDS) preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in product management, commercial analysis, or a related area (internships count).
  • Advanced analytical and organizational skills, with a proven ability to process and interpret raw commercial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Prior background or experience in the FMCG industry, especially kitchenware or lifestyle products is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
