Role
As a BIM Engineer specializing in structural modeling and rebar detailing using Revit, Allplan. You will primarily work on bridge and tunnel projects, collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate and efficient design execution
Job Description
- Develop and maintain BIM models for structural projects using Allplan, Revit
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall project models.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models of structural components, including rebar, precast elements, steel structures, and concrete.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, drawings, and schedules.
- Understand clash detection results and amend Revit models accordingly.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and provide input on model-related issues.
- Continuously update and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the organization.
Requirement
- Bachelor&aposs degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in the structural discipline.
- English proficiency in conversation.
- Proficiency in Allplan is advanced.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in model creation and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards.
