Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Support the development of automated and manual test strategies and documentation for web and API platforms.
  • Assist in assessing, organising, and executing testing processes in collaboration with relevant partners.
  • Build, maintain, and run automated test scripts utilising Playwright, under guidance from senior team members.
  • Detect, log, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct regression tests following the resolution of identified issues.
  • Learn and apply testing methodologies for both new and existing solutions to align with organisational objectives.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, IT or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • 0–2 years of experience in software testing; exposure to automation testing is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn automation frameworks such as Playwright and Robot Framework.
  • Basic understanding of source code management (version control) with Git (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
  • Foundational knowledge of software testing principles (ISTQB-CTFL or equivalent is a plus).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno is a plus.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of microservice-designed applications is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with test monitoring and reporting tools like Jira (XRay) or Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker/containerised applications is an advantage.
  • Good communication in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with eagerness to learn and grow in automation testing.
