Position Overview
Keiser University Vietnam is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or junior accounting professionals eager to build a solid career foundation in higher education financial operations.
In this role, you will handle daily accounts receivable processing, tuition fee management, student ledger tracking, and general accounting compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify the validity and legal compliance of accounting documents related to university revenues, recording financial entries in strict accordance with accounting standards.
- Track, manage, and reconcile accounts receivable, including tuition fees, administrative charges, educational service fees, and other receivables.
- Address and resolve student fee payment inquiries, coordinating closely with students and internal departments.
- Prepare payment documentation, perform data reconciliations, and handle daily operational accounting tasks as assigned.
- Generate regular receivables aging reports, special revenue tracking statements, and other financial reports requested by management.
- Maintain, organize, and archive physical and digital accounting records in compliance with current regulations.
- Perform additional accounting duties assigned by the Chief Accountant and University Board.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:No prior experience required (comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and MS Word). Must have a personal laptop for daily work.
