DKT Mekong is looking for talented candidates for Junior Accountant position. This a full-time, on-site position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations, including:
- Coordinate with accounting service providers in Laos and Cambodia to reconcile accounting transactions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Act as the liaison between the accounting service providers in Laos and Cambodia and the local teams to support pre-accounting activities.
- Coordinate with the local teams in Laos and Cambodia to verify accounting supporting documents before payments are processed from Ho Chi Minh City.
- Ensure accounting documents are properly scanned, organized, and electronically archived in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare internal reports to Head Quarter Finance team on quarterly and annual basis.
- Coordinate with external, internal and global auditors for their audit conduct in each country branch if any.
- Coordinate with the Vietnam Finance team and support other accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good English.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- High learning agility and ability to work under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and diligent.
- Familiarity with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and non-profit or NGO environments is beneficial.
