Java Technical Lead

Your responsibilities:

Technical Direction & Architecture

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a Tech Lead or equivalent position.
• Lead and guide the technical direction for cloud-based microservices projects, with a focus on 24/7 systems (Traffic Analytics, Data services for traffic light controllers...)
• Design system architecture and define technical standards and best practices for scalability and long-term maintainability.
• Make architectural decisions to balance business needs, operational costs, and flexibility for future change.

Software Quality

• Lead and perform code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Manage code quality through testing and code quality management tools (e.g., SonarQube).
• Establish reliability practices suited to 24/7 operations (monitoring, alerting, and resilience).

Mentorship & Collaboration

• Provide mentorship and technical coaching to Java Developers.
• Collaborate with clients to analyze requirements and propose optimal technical solutions.
• Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and Frontend teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations.

Process & Delivery

• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, maintaining project quality, and delivery timelines.

 Requirements (suggested)

• Strong experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
• Experience designing and operating microservices architectures on cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with high-availability, 24/7 systems.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and client communication skills.
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
