Java Tech Leader

• Lead and mentor the Java Backend team, driving technical excellence and delivery quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Review system architecture, code quality, and technical solutions to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Manage sprint planning, task prioritization, and technical execution.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Promote engineering best practices, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
  

Must Have

• 8+ years of Java backend development experience, including 3+ years in a Technical Lead/Team Lead role.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA/Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, RESTful APIs, and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit/Mockito, and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with experience handling high-load production systems.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and backend security.
• Experience in Gaming/ iGaming, fintech, or other high-traffic platforms is a strong advantage.
