Role Description
- The Java Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
- This role is responsible for leading a team of Java developers, overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications and microservices.
- The Java Team Lead coordinates technical planning, reviews code for quality and performance, and ensures that design patterns and best practices are consistently applied.
- Daily activities include mentoring team members, collaborating with product owners and architects, managing sprint deliverables, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- The role also involves aligning development efforts with security, scalability, and compliance requirements across global projects.
Qualifications
- Strong Software Development skills with hands-on experience in Java and modern backend frameworks.
- Demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, including mentoring, task delegation, and performance feedback.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing Microservices architectures and integrating distributed systems.
- Applied knowledge of Design Patterns and best practices for building scalable, maintainable applications.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in English (spoken and written).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in high-availability, secure, and regulated environments is an advantage.
