Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer (Japanese Speaker) to join our international engineering team. This role is open to candidates based in Vietnam , working fully remotely with global stakeholders and Japanese-speaking teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Core Java/J2EE development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in Japanese within a professional software development environment.
Mid-level to Senior-level candidates are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications
- Collaborate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams
- Develop and enhance backend systems using Java technologies and related frameworks
- Build and maintain APIs and web-based applications
- Participate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
- Support deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution
- Create technical documentation and provide system support when required
Required Skills & QualificationsMust-Have Skills
- Strong experience with:
- Core Java
- J2EE development
- Experience in enterprise application development
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Japanese communication skills for business-level collaboration ( N2/N1)

- Mid-level to Senior-level software engineers
- Experience working in international or Japanese projects is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to manage tasks effectively in a remote setup
Language Requirement
- Japanese: Business level or above
- English: Working proficiency
