Major Responsibilities
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
- Assist with resolving the day to day technology issues experienced by the business
- Provide support for the office based Audio Visual equipment in meeting rooms
- Providedadvice to the business on the capabilities of the tools associated with Office 365
- CoordinateIT equipment purchases, setup and deliveries to new starters.
- Work closely with the Melbourne based IT Manager and Service provider
- Assistingthe business in the adoption of digital practices
- Ensuring the business always operates with Cybersecurity in mind.
Other
- Develop a continuous improvement approach to the technology and security environment across all processes and products in use
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- 2-3 years experience working as an IT Support officer or IT Service Desk analyst
- A qualification in Information Systems
- Experience with Microsoft technologies such as: WindowsOperating Systems; Microsoft0365; Intune; Active Directory; Defender End Point protection; WAN/LAN technologies
- Ability totroubleshoot issues and manageprioritieseffectively, while maintaining a high degree ofcustomer orientation
- A good understanding of cybersecurity best practises
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Ability to plan and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive, responsive,flexibleand solution-focused
- Productive when working autonomously and unsupervised
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined to achieve goals and keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies
- Understand and promote team culture, respectingneedsand contributions of others
- Exposure to the following will be beneficial, although not mandatory: 0365 Security; Single SignOn (SSO); Cloudbased technologies; Disaster Recovery; AzureAD
