IT - Quality Engineer (Night shift)

We are establishing a Quality Engineering POD focused on modern test automation and shift-left practices. We're seeking experienced Senior Quality Engineers who leverage AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Augment, etc.) to build scalable automation frameworks and champion quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API, and database layers using AI coding assistants

• Develop automated test scripts with Selenium, Playwright, and API testing tools

• Collaborate early with development teams (shift-left) to influence design for testability

• Manage test data transformation and validation for realistic test scenarios

• Build integration tests validating data flow across systems, APIs, and microservices

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing

• Champion quality-first principles and modern Quality Engineering practices

• Stay current with emerging AI-assisted testing tools and methodologies

Job Qualifications

1. Education

·      Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

·      ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification (plus)

2.     Experience

·      6+ years test automation experience with Quality Engineering mindset

·      Strong shift-left and Agile/DevOps experience

·      Proficiency with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Augment, Cursor, etc.)

3.     Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·      Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript

·      Selenium WebDriver & Playwright

·      API testing (REST Assured, Postman, Axios)

·      SQL and database testing

·      Test data management

·      System integration testing and data flow validation experience

·      Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

• Git version control proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Supply chain industry experience

• Microservices and distributed systems testing

• Performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)

• Docker/containerization

• TDD/BDD practices
