Job duties:
Project Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end project management across the entire SDLC (initiation to closure)
- Define project scope, goals, timeline, and deliverables that support client objectives
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying models (dedicated team vs. fixed bid)
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management plans
Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients (mainly from the US, EU, ANZ, SIN etc.)
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to report project status, resolve issues, and manage expectations
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable plans for the development team Team
Leadership & Collaboration
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, testers, designers, and business analysts
- Mentor and coach project team members; resolve conflicts and ensure high performance
- Ensure team alignment with Agile/Scrum best practices (or other methodologies as required) Quality & Risk Management
- Monitor project quality and ensure all deliverables meet client standards Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure proper documentation, testing, and deployment processes are followed.
Job requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software project management
- Proven track record managing **international outsourcing projects**
- Strong experience in both **dedicated team** and **project-based** delivery models
- Solid knowledge of **Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall**
- Excellent communication in English
- Experience with tools: **Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Slack, Trello, Git, etc.**
- PMP, PSM, or equivalent certifications are a strong plus.
- Fluent in English
- Currently live in Hanoi, Vietnam.
